Pantheon stood in the sun temple. There was the holy sun well and Leona was kneeling, praying at it. He watched her, she opened her eyes and turned towards him. He knelt beside her and she responded to his presence, "Come to pray for the dawn?" He was silent for a moment, "I've come to pray for my friends." She glared at him, "I need no prayers. Diana has yours! After what you pulled on the battlefield, she should have died!" Her voice erupted in the sun temple, echoing loudly.
Pantheon lowered his gaze, "Do not forget you are the sun. Where is your warmth?" Leona stood away from him and he shouted at her as he stood, "You love her! Do not pretend with me!" She paused and walked towards him, "I love both of you, but I am the sun and I shall burn all those who are close to me. There is no choice..." Pantheon stared at her as she trailed off, "I remember once when we were children the well we visited. I remember seeing you and her playing in the branches of that tree..."
"You refused to climb it," Pantheon stated as he folded his arms in front of her. "Yes, I'd refused. You'd both always given me such attention before. You both worshiped me. I thought I was your favorite, until I saw... That kiss in the tree." Pantheon's gaze was soft, "You saw us? I remember later you kissed me in front of her, so that's why you did it." Leona looked intensely at Pantheon, "I kissed her too when she wouldn't stop crying over it. You're both mine, you know. Diana will die if I want her to. You can die if I want you to."
Pantheon's eyes pierced into Leona's, "Then you will know war." Leona continued towards him in her Valkyrie armor, he expected her to fight, but instead she kissed him. He was surprised. She had always had everything. She always had her way. He sighed after they finished, "Do not feel you are not loved by us." Leona shook her head, "Everyone loves me. I know." She looked at the sunlight that came in through the sun temple. It shined onto the holy sun well.
